Encore: Social Security proposal would raise revenue and temporarily enhance benefits

Congressman John Larson (D-Conn.), Chair of the House Ways and Means Sub­committee on Social Security, recently released his 2021 version of the 2019 Social Security 2100 Act. 

The earlier version, which was introduced jointly with senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), retained — and even slightly enhanced — benefits and substantially increased revenues.
